Colonization is my 'go-to' for down time with a computer and the game play never really gets boring or repetitive since it’s so different each time you start a new game/employ different strategies each time.
This game is incredibly (but thankfully not obssessively) addictive. I had the original version of this game back in the day (Civ 1 platform) used to play it all the time the Civ 4 remake is just as good if not better in terms of fun factor and longevity of interest. Definitely worth the download! I was looking for a game similar to PC Based Anno 1701. What I got was a turn-based game that was as slow and uninteresting as any game I've ever played. Having been a big fan of the ANNO series, I was expecting this to be at least similar. It wasn't even close.
